Italy 2-0 Finland
Teenager Moise Kean and midfielder Nicolo Barella scored their first international goal as Italy began their Euro 2020 qualifier on Saturday with a comfortable victory over Finland.
Nicolo Barella, 22, gave Italy the perfect start by scoring with a deflected shot after seven minutes
Then Juventus striker Moise Kean, 19, who was playing just his second International game – the first player born after 2000 to play for Italy, added the second in the 74th minute as he converted from Ciro Immobile’s pass .
Italy’s first home win since they beat Israel in a World Cup qualifier in September, 2017 gave them a perfect start as they missed out qualification for the 2018 World Cup.
This also means that they scored more than one goal in a game for only the second time in their past 18 internationals.
Norwich striker Teemu Pukki missed Finland’s best chance from close range.
