Fulham 1-2 Chelsea
Fulham move closer to relegation as their first game under caretaker manager, Scott Parker ended in defeat against Chelsea, who earned their first Premier League away victory.
Gonzalo Higuain scored the opener 20th minute after a quality cross Cesar Azpilicueta.
Fulham, who sacked Claudio Ranieri on Thursday, produced a spirited display and equalized through Calum Chambers from a corner, awarded after recalled Chelsea keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga’s exceptional save had kept out Aleksandar Mitrovic’s volley.
But four minutes later, Jorginho scored from from 20 yards leaving to give Chelsea the victory.
Ryan Sessegnon scored in the injury time but it was ruled out for offside.
Chelsea remain sixth but only two points adrift of fourth spot.
