Barcelona knocked Real Madrid out to reach Copa dey Rel final

Luis Suarez scored twice as Barcelona won at Real Madrid in a smash-and-grab El Clasico to reach a sixth consecutive Copa del Rey final.

Even though Real Madrid dominated the second leg with 14 shots it was Barca who were more clinical and scored all the 3 goals to make it 4-1 on aggregate.

Luis Suarez scored 15 minutes into the second half. He blast home from 14 yard after a cross from Ousmane Dembele.

Raphael Varane scored an own-goal 73rd minute, after he tried to stop Nelson Semedo’s pass from reaching Luis Suarez – but turned it into his own net.

Then Barca placed the game beyond Real after Luis Suarez chipped in a penalty awarded for Casemiro’s foul on him.

Both will meet again at the Bernabeu on Saturday in La Liga.

The Copa del Rey final takes place on 25 May, Barcelona will face either Real Betis or Valencia, with that tie to be settled on Thursday after the first leg finished 2-2.
