Liverpool restored a three point lead on top of the Premier League table after victory over Bournemouth

Liverpool 3-0 Bournemouth

Liverpool moved back to the top of the Premier League table with a dominant victory at Anfield over Bournemouth, making it an eighth successive away defeat for the visitors.

Liverpool started the day behind Manchester City who went on top three days ago on goal difference after a 2-0 win against Everton.

Sadio Mane put the Reds ahead 24th minute with a powerful header from James Milner’s cross, making it his fourth successive Premier League, first of his career.

Georginio Wijnaldum doubled Liverpool’s lead when he latches on to a bouncing ball inside the penalty area, takes one touch, before lifting it over Artur Boruc and into the net.

Early second half, Mohamed Salah curled home past Artur Boruc, after a lovely combination play by Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino, his 20th goal in all competitions this season.
