Chelsea suffered a big setback in their Champions league qualification after a historic thumping defeat at Bournemouth

Bournemouth 4-0 Chelsea

Chelsea suffered a 4-0 humiliating defeat at Bournemouth, making it their worst loss in the Premier League era and also fell out of the top four for the first time this season – level on point with Arsenal.

Two goals and an assist by Joshua King saw Bournemouth win their second consecutive league match and move up to 10th in the Premier League table as Chelsea drop to fifth because of a worse goal difference than fourth-placed Arsenal.

Despite Chelsea’s 70% possession throughout first half, it was Bournemouth that took the lead early second half as Joshua King smash home Brooks’ cut-back.

Then King lifted a pass over Chelsea’s scrambling defense and David Brooks shoots into the bottom corner, to make it 2 three minutes after the hour-mark.

King Joshua added a third with a right-footed finish from close range. Before substitute Charlie Daniels produced the finishing touch within the injury time with a stooping header.

Gonzalo Higuain made his debut but was unable to make impact. Chelsea fans were singing for ” you don’t know what you are doing”
