Mohamed Salah scored twice as Liverpool put up a hard fight to win against Crystal Palace

Mohamed Salah scored twice making it his 50th Premier League goal and 16th goal of this Premier League season as Liverpool recovered from a goal down to beat a strong Crystal Palace in a seven-goal thriller at Anfield.

Liverpool dominated majority of the first half at Anfield but it was Palace who scored as Andros Townsend beats Alisson from close range following a cross from Wilfried Zaha.

The Reds scored first minute of the second half – a goal from Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino added another goal seven minutes later to put Liverpool ahead.

Crystal Palace fought back as James Tomkins capitalized on poor defending to head in a leveler from a corner.

Mohamed Salah scored his second of the night 75th minute making it 3-2, James Milner was dismissed in the 89th minute with a second yellow-card.

It was a nervy ending as two goals were scored in the injury time, as Sadio Mane added a fourth before Max Meyer scored the consolation goal for the visitors.

Liverpool extended on top of the Premier League table by 7 points.
