Tranmere Rovers 0-7 Tottenham
Tottenham scored seven goals against League Two Tranmere Rovers to progress into the FA Cup fourth round with Fernando Llorente scoring a hat-trick and Serge Aurier two goals as Spurs record their biggest away win in history.
Tranmere held Spurs back for most of the first half until Serge Aurier scored 40 minutes with a deflected 25-yard shot.
Fernando Llorente doubled the visitors lead with 3 minutes into second half, converting Son Heung-min’s cut-back.
Aurier scored his second 55 minutes and Son Heung-min scored from a great individual goal with a solo run from deep two minutes later.
Fernando Llorente slid in his second goal of the night 71 minutes from Oliver Skipp’s pass and completed his hat-trick almost immediately 72 minutes before he was subbed off and replaced by Harry Kane.
Harry Kane added the seventh in the 82nd minute with a chip over Davies from inside the penalty area to level with Cliff Jones as Spurs’ joint fourth top scorer on 159 goals.
