Felipe Anderson scored to times to help West Ham come from behind to win Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium and move up to ninth in the Premier League table.
The first half was generally quiet but Southampton took the lead early second half as Nathan Redmond poke home after a scrambling defensive display by West Ham defenders who were under pressure from Redmond.
But West Ham leveled 3 minutes later as Felipe Anderson struck low to beat Alex McCarthy. Before he scored his second of the night with a stunning shot to put West Ham ahead.
Southampton pressed hard for an equaliser, but the visitors defense stood firm to secure Hammers their fifth win in six games.
