Late goal from Ricardo Pereira secured the win for Leicester as Fabian Delph saw red

Leicester came from a goal down to inflict a second successive defeat on Manchester City as Ricardo Pereira’s late strike gave Leicester the win and City drop to third spot in the Premier League Table.

Manchester City took the lead 14th-minute after they took advantage of poor defending from the home side as Bernardo Silva finish from Sergio Aguero pass.

But Leicester leveled five minutes later as Marc Albrighton headed in from Jamie Vardy’s cross, before Ricardo Pereira stunning winner for a Leicester side who had also won 1-0 at Chelsea on Saturday.

Manchester City ended the game with 10 men as Fabian Delph was shown a red card when he slid in on Ricardo and caught him on the knee.

According to BBC Sports “Manchester City only lost twice in all of 2017-18 as they became the champions, but this loss was their second in five days after a shock 3-2 home defeat by Crystal Palace on Saturday.”
