The match at Watford was tough for Chelsea as Eden Hazard collected Mateo Kovacic’s pass, took the ball around goalkeeper to score his 100th Blues goal at the injury time of the first half.
Chelsea’s lead only lasted two minutes as Roberto Pereyra volleyed an equalizer from the edge of the 18-yard box.
Hazard doubled Chelsea’s lead in second half from penalty spot after Foster had brought him down.
This result takes Chelsea back to fourth, 11 points behind leaders Liverpool.
It was a return to winning ways for the Blues after they had suffered a surprise 1-0 loss at home to Leicester City on Saturday.
