Arsenal 3-1 Burnley
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice and takes over Salah as league’s top scorer as Arsenal move level with fourth-placed Chelsea and Burnley remain in the Premier League bottom three at Christmas.
Aubameyang scored his 11th goal of the season to give Arsenal an early lead from a great pass from Mesut Ozil, who is making a first start in six league matches. This lead made it first time Gunners have led in Premier League at half-time this season.
Arsenal doubled their lead three and half minutes into the second half with another superb finish from Aubameyang from a quick counter-attack.
Ashley Barnes brought the Burnley back into game with a 63rd minutes low and hard finish after Arsenal failed to clear the ball, setting up a nervy ending as Burnley pushed hard for an equalizer.
But Alex Iwobi scored from close range in stoppage-time after a great run from Mesut Ozil to ensure the Gunners maintained their push for a Champions League spot.
