Manchester United fought back twice to earn a draw against Arsenal as Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku started from bench.
The match was filled with defensive errors. Goalkeeper David de Gea made an unusual error as he failed to deal with Shkodran Mustafi‘s 26th-minute header, which Ander Herrera could not clear before it crossed the line.
United were quick to equalize four minutes later through Anthony Martial after Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno barely cleared a free-kick.
Alexandre Lacazette capitalized on Marcos Rojo defensive calamity to restore Arsenal’s lead after 68 minutes, the Argentine defender gives the ball away in the left-back area and poke in an own-goal hen he tried to retrieve it. But United level second time within seconds as Jesse Lingard pounced on Sead Kolasinac’s attempted backpass.
De Gea made some great saves to redeem himself. This result leaves United eighth in the Premier League. Arsenal drop to fifth and extended their unbeaten run this season to 20 games.
