Aubameyang scored twice to inspire the comeback as Lucas Torreira goal secure the victory

Arsenal win against Tottenham in North London derby to move to fourth position in the Premier League table on level point with Spurs who dropped to fifth position.  

Arsenal extended their unbeaten run to 19 matches, scoring an early goal from penalty taken by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after Jan Vertonghen’s handball.

Tottenham equalized before half as Eric Dier poked home Christian Eriksen’s free-kick, his celebrations in front of Arsenal’s fans caused a brief brawl between both player. Then Harry Kane scored from the spot after Rob Holding tackled down Son Heung-min inside the box.

The introduction of Alexandre Lacazette and Aaron Ramsey at the start of the second half had a dramatic effect on game leading to an equalizer by Aubameyang just before the hour mark. Alexandre Lacazette scored Arsenal’s third goal as his deflected shot beat the goalkeeper Hugo Lloris with 16 minutes left.

Lucas Torreira sealed the victory with a magnificent finish as he ran clear of defenders. To compound Spur’s woes Vertonghen was sent off with a second yellow for a foul on Lacazette.
