Raheem Sterling who has been in stunning form this season, scored just before the hour mark to restore City’s lead and move level with Manchester City team-mate Sergio Aguero and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the top of the Premier League scoring charts.
Then Ilkay Gundogan scored a late goal to seal the win. City move five point clear of the second place Liverpool and maintain their 100% home record in the league this season, with eight wins out of eight.
