Group B: Late strike from Eriksen keeps Spurs hope alive as Barcelona lead the group

Late Eriksen strike secured Tottenham a in over Inter, Messi scored the opener and setup the the second as Barcelona top Group B

Christian Eriksen scored a late goal as Tottenham win against Inter Milan at Wembley and keep alive their hopes of reaching the Champions League knockout stage with their final game at Barcelona.

In the other Group B match, Barcelona win against PSV to top the group and reach the Champions League knockout stage. After a goalless first half, Lionel Messi scored the first goal just after the hour-mark to give Barcelona the lead, then Gerard Pique doubled their lead 10 minutes later. Luuk de Jong scored a late consolation for PSV.

Barcelona lead the Group B  table by six points Tottenham is second on level point with Inter Milan and ahead on goal difference. Spurs will qualify if their result at Barcelona matches or betters Inter’s result at home to PSV.

The final group matches are: Barcelona vs Tottenham and Inter Milan vs PSV on Tuesday, 11 December.
