Atletico Madrid top the Group A table and qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League after a comfortable home victory over Thierry Henry’s struggling Monaco.
Koke scored the opener just two minutes into the game from a deflected. Then Antoine Griezmann doubled their lead 24th minute with a great finish.
Radamel Falcao missed a late penalty for Monaco against his former club with Atletico’s Stefan Savic sent off having received his second booking of the match to concede the spot-kick.
With just one point from five games, Monaco will finish bottom of Group A.
Borrusia Dormond are second and also qualified to the knockout stage with a goalless draw against Club Brugge. The results final match will determine the winner of the group.
