Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku started this current Premier League season very bright scoring four goals in his opening five appearances, but he has not scored since mid-September. He responded to the recent criticism regarding his first touch and insists he’s working ‘every day’ to improve it.
Lukaku has been in and out of Jose Mourinho’s side but returned to the starting XI for United’s goalless draw at home to Crystal Palace at the weekend. The Belgian was widely mocked by fans for his wayward first touch on Saturday against Crystal Palace.
He is currently going through his worst goal drought for the Manchester-based club and some United fans believed the reason for his goal drought is his increase in weight – he has added up lot of weight in one year.
