England beat Croatia to qualify for next summer’s Nations League finals as goals from Jesse Lingard and Harry Kane in the final twelve minutes completed the comeback.

England were five minutes from relegation to second tier before a late goal from Kane and a win relegated Croatia to second tier as Spain finished second.

In a game dominated by England with some missed opportunities in the first half, Croatia scored first three minutes before the hour mark, as they break forward in a counter-attack and get to the back line with ease, Andrej Kramarić capitalized on defensive error to shoot and it deflects off Eric Dier’s outstretched leg and over Jordan Pickford.

Jesse Lingard got the equalizer for England five minutes after he was introduced into the game as he pokes in a goal from Harry Kane’s slide touch.

In the 85th minute Harry Kane slides and poke in a curled-in free-kick from Ben Chilwell.

England got their World Cup revenge against Croatia, who had a comeback 2-1 win against England in the World Cup semi-final this Summer.

This means that England has qualified for the UEFA Nations Leage semifinals ahead of Spain and Croatia relegated to second tier.
