Romelu Lukaku trained with Manchester United ahead of Sunday’s derby, though Jose Mourinho said he is still under assessment. Pogba did not train with his team mates on Friday due an unspecified injury, though he did some indoor work at Carrington.
Lukaku missed United’s late comeback wins against Bournemouth and Juventus due to hamstring injury sustained during training, but he could feature on Sunday against Manchester City.
The injury is only thought to be minor, with Mourinho saying there were no new ‘important’ injuries at his pre-match press conference. Mourinho stated there is no much concerns but will wait for final assessment.
On the other hand, Metro reported that Paul Pogba trained indoor at Carrigton and did not train his team mates, though at the pre-match conference Mourinho said that there are no new ‘important’ injuries. But there could be a late decision on both Pogba and Lukaku, this could hurt United.
