The Premier League champions return to go top of the table with an emphatic win over Southampton as Sergio Agüero scored his 150th goal for Manchester City.
Manchester City scored four goals before half time, the first was in six minutes, an own-goal from Wesley Hoedt as he attempted to clear the ball form Sane’s cross.
Sergio Agüero doubled their lead six minutes later through Sterling’s reverse pass, making it his 150th goal for Manchester City.
David Silva scored the third but Danny Ings scored one for Southampton from penalty spot after he was brought down by city keeper.
Raheem Sterling scored the fourth before the break and another after the hour mark, then a late goal from Leroy Sané ended the game 6-1 in favour of the host.
