Luka Milivojevic’s double penalty goal denied Arsenal the win and an opportunity to move third place ahead of Manchester City and Tottenham who will each other later today. The late draw ends Arsenal’s 11-game winning run.

A penalty was awarded to Crystal Palace at the stoppage time of the first half and it was buried by the captain Luka Milivojevic resulting to Palace’s first goal at home this season.

Granit Xhaka scored an early second half goal from a sublime free kick that ended up top left corner of the post as Arsenal equalized.

Five minutes later Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pounced from what looked like a hand ball from Alexandre Lacazette to put the visitors ahead.

Milivojevic stepped up to the penalty spot and scored the equalizer given a result of the foul on Wilfried Zaha by Xhaka in the box with 83rd minute. This ended Arsenal’s winning run, however, Arsenal are still great force to reckon with as their 12th game unbeaten run continues and they are fourth on the Premier League table with just four points separating them from the top leader – Liverpool.

With this result Arsenal are just one point behind the Champions – Manchester City and one above Tottenham; the two clubs will face each other later today. Crystal Palce moved up to 14th, just three points above relegation zone.

Arsenal coach expressed his disappointment on the end of the winning run, however he remained optimistic speaking during the post-match conference “But we are in a process, and in a good position now to achieve our objectives. It’s difficult away from home in this league; this draw is not a bad result. The team can improve. We want to win each match, but Palace are a good team, and it is never easy here.”
