Mohamed Salah continued his return to scoring form after he ended a four-game goal drought with the winner at Huddersfield. The Egyptian forward scored twice to increase his tally for Liverpool to 50 goals as the five-time European champions eased past Red Star Belgrade 4-0 at Anfield.

Roberto Firmino scored an opener 20th minute into the game. Then Mohamed Salah scored his first goal of the night just before the break, and his second early second-half converting a penalty won by Sadio Mane.

Liverpool dominated the game with nearly 70% possession. Sadio Mane struck home the last goal of the night 10 minutes before the end of the game after missing a penalty.

Liverpool top Group C with six points while Red star Belgrade are bottom of the table with 1 point from 3 games. In the other match a draw left Napoli with five points from three games and PSG on four points with .
