Paris Saint-Germain avoided a defeat that could have limited progress in their Champions League campaign as Angel di Maria stunning stoppage-time equalizer earned them a 2-2 draw at home against Napoli. But for the late equalizer, it would have been 3-points from three game for PSG.

Napoli took the lead 29th minute of the game as Lorenzo Insigne converted Jose Callejon’s through ball. It was a well deserved lead because they were the better side of the first half.

PSG improved after the break and equalized 61st minute through an own goal from Mario Rui.

Napoli restored their lead as Dries Mertens strike home a loose ball from close range 77th minute.
They were denied a shock win when Di Maria curled the ball into the top corner past David Ospina from the edge of the box – third minute of stoppage time.

The draw left Napoli with five points from three games and PSG on four points with Liverpool top of Group C with six points.
