Barcelona maintained their perfect start of the season’s Champions League as they win over Inter Milan at the Nou Camp to remain on top of Group B.

Rafinha opened the scoring against the club he spent on loan later part of last season. Barcelona were without Lionel Messi due to a fractured arm injury he sustained from Saturday game against Sevilla. He was watching from the stand.

Late second half goal from Jordi Alba sealed the victory for the Spanish giant through a pass from Ivan Rakitic.

It would have been a thrashing victory but Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic made nine saves to deny Barcelona. These includes excellent stops to deny Luis Suarez and Clement Lenglet.

The victory sends the five times Champions League winners clear at the top of Group B with three wins from three and one win away from qualifying for round of 16 stage. Inter are second on six points, while Tottenham and PSV Eindhoven have a point apiece following their 1-1 draw earlier on Wednesday.
