PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe was sent off with a straight red card 32nd minute for a dangerous studs-up tackle on Tanguy Ndombele. The referee initially gave a yellow card but changed it to red after the VAR review. At the end of half-time Lyon’s midfielder Lucas Tousart was sent off with his second yellow of the game.

Kylian Mbappe scored four goals within 13 minutes in second half. His first goal came on the 60th minute with a low strike off the post. Then he scored a hat-trick after that, making it his 11th goal in nine matches, leading to a 5-0 crushing defeat against Lyon.
