Champions League: Late win for Manchester City and Dybala’s hat trick for Juventus

A dramatic 87th minute strike from David Silva secured a first win in this season’s Champions League for Manchester City.

Hoffeinheim scored at the start of the match – 44 seconds through  Ishak Belfodil’s left-footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner. But Sergio Agüero’s 8 minute right-footed shot from the centre of the box canceled the goal. First half ended    1-1. Second half was open but dominated by City. Manchester City earned a win through David Silva’s 87th minute goal. He capitalized on the Hoffeinheim defender’s error to score.

Juventus 3-0 Young Boys

Dybala scored twice in the first half for Juventus, and his 69th minute strike completed his treble of the night, making it a nine straight wins in all competition for Juventus. Cristiano Ronaldo did not play due to his suspension.

They are now on top of the group table but Manchester United will host Valencia shortly (12:00 PDT ).
