Paul Pogba scored two goals in quick succession in the space of 2 minutes with assists from Sanchez early second half. The equalizer gave United hope and momentum. Chris Smalling  scored from Alexis Sanchez free kick giving them the winner.

The game was with many controversies, City felt they were denied a clear penalty when Aguero was brought down in the penalty box but the referee waved it off. The match ended with United winning the derby.

This stunning defeat from Manchester United with a second half comeback at Etihad stadium has delayed Pep team from lifting the EPL. Now they will have to wait to lift it with a win against Tottenham or Swansea or a United loss.
